We
travel to various quilt shows throughout the Western USA to exhibit
our fabrics and designs. The quilt and craft shows are great fun. If
you haven't had a chance to attend one, you don't know what you are
missing.
We
attended the Pacific International Quilt Show the first of October in
Santa Clara, CA for about the 5th time and was not at all disappointed
with the display and quality of quilts from around the world. Considering
the world climate, I was surprised the quilts were sent to the US as
well as the amount of travelers attending the show. We hope that you
enjoy these highlights!
For
the first time visitor, be sure to take a tote bag of some sort. This
is so you can put all the treasures you have found in one bag instead
of trying to hang onto multiple shopping bags. If you are really into
shopping, perhaps one of those bags with wheels is the answer and saves
on shoulder strain. Whether you bring a bag or not, you must try at
least one show. Bring a friend and spend the day!!!
