It has been over a month since the last newsletter. My dear momma needed major help and attention so newsletter time as well as clean house time, yardwork time and just about anything thing else, went out the window. Then my son had a spill on his motorcycle. Not a great 6 weeks or so.

This summer weather has sure been odd for us here in California. We usually do not get rain from around Easter to about mid October. Not this year!! I understand it may ran again this weekend. Years ago, when the earth was cooling and I was a teenager, I do remember another wet summer. It just poured on our family once a year, camping trip. Dad had to dig a trench around the perimiter of the tent to keep the water out. Don't remember if it worked 100% or not.

 

Albuquerque shows was wonderful. It even rained there. I had to cancel the Lancaster show at the last minute.

My next show is in Eureka, CA on July 23 and 24 at the Redwood Acres Fairgrounds. Looks like it will be in three buildings. A lot of talented women in that quilt guild. Must be the fresh air causes massive creativity. Do try to attend.
