Summer vacations are nearly over and the kids will be returning to school in no time at all. Quilt shows will be starting up once again and the front lawn won't look quite so brown. It is time to gear up for the fall sewing projects while the kids are safely tucked away in school during the dog days of summer.

Once again, if you have too many quilts and not enough time to get them quilted, well I have a solution. I am promoting a new long arm quilting person who is not completely booked up as yet. Our next show is in August in Santa Monica, CA. The show is the Fabulous Fiber Fest, August 20, 21 and 22 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Weaving, spinning, knitting, crochet, embroidery, doll making, bag making, rug hooking, braiding, bobbin lace, tatting, quilting and much more plus demo all day, unique fashion shows ( one is call "Show Woof Night" showing off hand made things for pooches.) We will have a number of "new" things we just picked up at the Gift Fair. Do put it on your must do list.

Following Santa Monica is the Marin Needle Art and Quilt show Labor Day weekend in San Rafael at the Convention Center on September 2nd through the 5th. We will be on the back wall in a corner. Email if you need more information.
